Default Recipe cookbook software

I am going to post this is a couple places as I am not sure where it goes. I am a chef and am looking for a program that will work on my Q. I was using a program similar to Mastercook. This program only works on palm type software. I am hoping that with the resources of all the people on this site someone can help me find a program similar to what I had.

Oddly enough I pondered this same question just yesterday. I was using RecipeWorks from www.softwareDR.com. It has a desktop that I would sync to my Palm. I emailed Jason yesterday to see if he had plans to support a Smartphone format, as he already has Palm and PocketPC. The desktop format made it super easy to enter recipes, etc.

I will post back if I hear favorably from him.

Yeah, I like it so much that I might have to just make room for the laptop on the kitchen counter!

I'll probably email him again and let him know there's definite interest.

Rats.... Here is the email response from Jason...

It is always nice to see accolades for my work. Unfortunately, there are still no plans to support other platforms.

(BTW, I use an old PocketPC device mounted on a flexible support in the kitchen. It takes even less space than a laptop.)
