Just an FYI to the community. The Q9 acts like a totally different piece of hardware compared to original Q; therefore, I have purchased 2 new Q9's and will be making a Q9 compatible version of our software soon. I would expect to release it in about 3 weeks.

And if anyone cares, the new keyboard on the Q9 is one of the best keyboards of any mobile device out there. It doesn't skip or drop any letters and has a great feel. It's reason enough to upgrade.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that people can check on our progress at http://www.QooLApps.com. We'll also be releasing Treo versions shortly.

I'm hoping that the new Q9h world GSM phone will have the same hardware as the Q9, so that our new versions will work on that as well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The main problem with copy and paste is that we want it to work universally; meaning, we want it to work in a browser and in email etc... That's not possible with the current mobile IE. I haven't checked with the WM6 browser yet. We would have to write our own browser just to support that and that's not economical. We are still investigating our own wrapper browser but we need to get our existing apps out on more phones first, so that we can have the money to create other apps. We are still in the red for now.

aha.. i understand. there are 2 that i know of out there, i tried one (scissors) and it only copy 'n pastes between contacts and sms messages.

sucks that you guys are still in the red.

I just got the new Q9m and want to load qCaps. I get errors when i try to load it. is it compatible with the device. i see that this not was posted in sept '07. any updates?

I have a new version to test which should resolve all remaining issues. I'm leaving at 5 AM in the morning for a trip, so I won't get to test it until next week. If all goes well it will be ready next weekend.

Is the new version that support windows mobile 6 available? If so, where can i get the updated software?
