I saw the post before it was edited; OP was offering an initially free push-mail account [for the company he/she works for(?)] during the beta test period, and for a period of 6 months after the beta was over.

mail2web offers free exchange based e-mail accounts but their "BlackBerry Wireless Add-On" costs $10/month (http://services.mail2web.com/Persona...BlackBerry.asp) I assume this is what you need to do push e-mail on the Q. Am I missing something?

I assume that component is only needed for a Blackberry. The Q uses Exchange/ActiveSync to push mail and is included in the free service.

OK then. I am clearly missing something. I thought Active Sync is used to *pull* e-mail down from a server. What do I have to do to make my mail2web account push mail to my Q? Thanks.

When you set up your Mail2Web Live account, it will give you the information to enter into ActiveSync. After entering it and doing your first sync, you should see a new option in ActiveSync call "As items arrive". This new option will be your push option.

Default Hosted Exchange

What does "based on Microsoft Exchange" mean? Apparatus.net offers the real deal. Works with a Q.
