PocketSNES I need help!

When I tried opening my ROMS for the first time, the same thing happened to me. Somewhere else on these forums I read something that made it work. What you do is browse to the folder where the roms are, and then manually type in the file name and extension in the box, then hit the middle enter button. Once I did that the pocketsnes finally opened the file, and the next time I tried to open the same rom, I was then able to highlight the file in the directory and open the rom that way.
