Default PocketPlayer 3.5 Wrecked My Storage Card :-(

Ok, here it goes:
(1) I downloaded PocketPlayer 3.5 (trial) to my storage card. The icon in front of my mp3s switched from the Windows icon to the PktPlyr icon. No problem.
(2) Played with it for a while and decided to go back to my WMP. So, using the "settings" menu, I removed the PktPlyr file from my phone. Then, I deleted it from my storage card's "program files".

Now, here are the problems:
(3) The mp3s on my storage card will no longer play, directly from the card. An error tells me that the necessary components cannot be found. It tells me that I need to make sure the filename and path are correct.
(4) The songs play fine, if I access them directly from the main menu's Windows Media icon. I updated the storage card library and the device library from that menu, but no luck. I'm left wth that "empty" Windows icon in front of my mp3s.

So, my question is, how do I make things right? My concern is that my storage card has been wrecked, and, when I get a new device, the mp3s won't play.

the problem was you just uninstalled it wrong
you cant just delete files of programs

you have to go to start--settings--remove programs
its just like a PC...this is why you couldnt have your songs work...because it was still associated with the program that was removed incorrectly

from now you use the remove program menu to uninstall items

Thanx. I usually do remove programs the way you described. I don't know why I did it differently this time. Brainfreeze, I guess.
