I Have Pocketnester Plus Ver 0.9 By Haou Zang. Everything Works Perfectly Including The Controls Sticking. If You Still Have Problems With Yours..google This It And Uninstall Yours.

Sorry For The Caps Lock....my Q Does That Sometimes (can Figure Out What Does It)

I searched the forum and somewhere i found a guy saying that he uses the a,s,d,w keys for movement and that worked just fine. I also found a site with free roms where all of them work!

Default Hope I'm not hijacking your thread here...

I just started installing other apps on my Q9M, and I'm having some problems with getting it working properly, I hope someone who has a q9m can tell me that they got it working and how...
I used the instructions from this thread:
http://www.everythingq.com/forum/sof...bros-1344.html

I've dled and installed the PocketNesterPlus 0.9 (In its own folder), but had some problems configuring display and controller options as directed:
1) I can't choose Landscape Left - Only Portrait and Keep backlight on are selectable
2) I couldn't choose controller input keys, or so I think - the hex code next to the key changes when I select a key (after highlighting the ..., and pressing a key when prompted). Since I just noticed the hex changing, maybe it is working, i'll have to check further. **EDIT - Check controls, keys change according to hex, "..." stays the same, I and O are marked as same hex, and no controlling possible.**
3)When I launch SuperMarioBros (From the Games folder) it launches in what I think is landscape left (If I turn the q9m 90 degrees counter clockwise, so the bottom of the phone is in my right hand, top in my left) - the long dimension of the screen is vertical in the game. But I can't control it, and die quickly.
4) when I press a key to pause it which brings up the File and Options softkeys for Pocketnester plus, the screen flips back to "normal" orientation, which cuts off the bottom, and shows a "game paused, touch screen to resume" which of course I can't do, since its not a touchscreen!

Any help appreciated!

The thread I linked above had an embedded link in the word emulator. when I followed it, it showed an error, but there's a window at the top you can search from. Sorry, but I don't recall others.

as to the problem you mention, in v.9 (not sure about yours but imagine the same.) you have to open the nes rom from outside the game... ie open pocketnester, change configs, exit, then navigate to nes rom and open it from there.

pressing right instead of down should allow you to select the landscape mode.

I'm having the controller setup problem described above... half of the keys on the keyboard all map to 0x10.

I've got a Q9m and had noticed the same thing... first make sure when you're in PocketNester you hit your function key "FN" in the lower left to put the Q in abc mode. Then go to options>controllers and set your controls. I'd start off by hitting Del before setting a new key. The 0x10 issue seems to be with every non number pad key except V, B, N, M, ., ENTER, and the space bar. So, with the qwerty on the new Q's T, Y, U, I, O, P, H, J, K, & L CAN NOT be selected as controllers or they will show as 0x10. This is also why when you try to set P to = the A button it pulls up the menu instead. Thanks to whoever figured out to push and hold in the scroll button to turn the sound down that was a big help, just wish it was more adjustable... now if I could only rotate the screen I'd never put my Q down LOL!
