Platting Software

I'm looking for land platting software for the Q. You put in the metes and bounds and it gives you the drawn plat of land. I know they make these for windows, but does anybody know whether they make this for WM5?

Just out of curiosity, what does Platting involve or what is the purpose? I have never heard of this (I suppose I am sheltered) but it intrigues me.

If you read a deed, it gives you the boundaries of the land that was surveyed in a paragraph. It would say something like n40e 180p, then n33e 10.7 poles, and so on... anyway you type all of these into the program and it gives you a drawn printable picture of the land.
