Jeyo Companion does not require Outlook.. just Active Sync.

My bad! I thought it did, in that case I think I have an additional item for my Christmas Wish List.

Quick update to let you know that despite Handango wanting to charge me for the upgrade the people at Photo Contacts Pro and sending me the upgrade free of charge directly.

sweet
so the lesson learned is to get it from from the site rather than handango.com or someother place

So I've installed the upgraded version and so far so good, the Distinctive Email Tones are working, they use the same contact specific ringtone as is assinged for the sms alert, and it worked perfectly for my Gmail email. What happens when I recieve 3 emails all at the same time from different people remains to be seen!

I can also confirm that the 777 number that is used when connecting to the internet is not displayed in the recent caller list anymore either.

Hey guys,

I was pretty pleased with the new enhancements as well. I'll upgrade and check it out. After the novelty of full-screen picture ID wore off, I found myself using PCP simply for the SMS tones.

As you may know, I now use Ringo for my SMS tone management, and have uninstalled PCP. But like I said, maybe i'll give it another shot...

One of my biggest issues with the last release of PCP was that my phone WOULD NOT VIBRATE at all, unless I activated the Profile Manager through PCP and had vibrate turned on. I hate using 3rd party apps to manage the volume levels of my profiles (too much room for error) so that was the main reason for deleting it...

If I get around to it, i'll post back.

Ice and snow everywhere here in Madison, WI,

Matt!

Sadist,

Yea, I reinstalled PCP -- I couldn't hang. It tried to take over my profiles regardless of the setting I had it on -- and when I called my phone, every other call would ring, but nothing would appear on the phone -- the homescreen just sat there as the ring sounded...

Back to Ringo... I love my Ringo....

Later,

Matt!
