Default PDANet buggy...

Now that I have it, I use it daily because I have a laptop stand in my vehicle and it allows me to stay connected to my exchange server via VPN, yadda yadda. Anyways the last two mornings, I connect it and it says PDANet must be running on your mobile. I go to task manager and be sure that it is, and it is....it says PDANet...since it's not working anyways, I kill it. When I kill it, it leaves PdaNetWM.exe which will not kill, and I have to restart my phone in order to connect via PDANet again....this is very aggravating. Anyone know a fix for this?

Yeah that is most annoying.

What you have to do is to get off the internet on your laptop, then just unplug your Q from the laptop without shutting down PDANet on neither the Q or the laptop. Once unplugged, go to taskmanager on your Q and kill the app. As for the laptop, you can just leave PDANet as is.... should work, does for me.

I know that's what happens if you disconnect any differently than I just mentioned. Like if you try to shut down PDANet on your laptop or shut it down on the Q before disconnecting, that PDANetWM.exe remains in taskmanager. But if you just disconnect the USB cable of the Q from the laptop... 'then' kill PDANet on your Q, it will disappear.

My windows players did the same thing. I just started freeing up space and it hasn't happened again.
