Sat. 10/7 Sally to submit enhanced shipment report to Regional. Could I then place a task or appointment on, say, 10/9 automatically to follow up with Sally? Thanks in advance.
update: I'd like to know how to do these things using the Q only. Therefore saving the people typing their ActivSync answers their time. Thanks. |
The way I handle follow ups is just to change the current date of the task/appointment to the date I want to follow up. Then in the subject line, I just add this: "fu:"
I find this is the simplest way to move an item forward on my PDA. Plus, by leaving all the rest of the written info/data the same, and just adding the "fu:" tag at the beginning of the subject line, I then have all the relevant info at hand when the item pops back up into my life in the future.
And yes, you're right that the simplest way to delete old tasks and appointments is just to configure Activesync to sync items that are only X number of days/weeks/months old.
