Default Orb for TV

Wondering if anyone has tried this. I have a Windows Media Center 2005.

Last night I loaded Orb (Orb Networks | Home).

This is free. I then went to tivo.orb.com from my Q and WOW, I can watch live TV or anything that is recorded on Media Center.

Anyone else using this service???

I'm using Orb tv and it's ok, I enjoy it because it migrates with my media center but the streaming tv on the Q isnt that great too much buffering, But it beats paying for MobiTv so this is the answer if you have a tv tuner on your home PC.

You load NOTHING on your Q, you just go to a website AFTER you load it on your Media Center

If you have a Media Center you can watch TV from ANYWHERE you can get on the Web with your Q.

And if you're like me and dont' have a TV-tuner card, ORB provides wonderful free TV streams ... like Government access television! WOOHOOOOO

Seriously though, Orb is great for a lot of things -- it lets you load up your Q with whatever media/data you want on the memory card, but still have complete access to your entire music library as well as any downloaded TV shows, music videos, movies, etc. Depending on your quality of signal, the video does get a little "choppy" but I've never had issue with the audio.... I just hope VZW doesn't start kicking people off that use ORB. Then again, when ORB drops the free service, I doubt many people will still use it.
