I haven't seen/heard anything about Firefox. Frankly, I'm more concerned with Macromedia Flash becoming integrated with a browser on Windows Mobile 5.

I installed it to my sd card. I don't know if thats the reason for the problems I'm having or not.

1. Will not pull ie bookmarks or let me manage.
2. Won't let me set a new homepage and is hard to nav the screen in which this is done.
3. My home screen has the small icons on the bottom and the opera browser shows them unless I put it into full screen mode.
4. Don't have an image mode to allow for saving pics off the web.

btw: its Opera 8.65 (2493)

I just removed it and installed to device with same issues. wtf

Yes, it was released on June 1st and expires October 1st, at which point Opera will release either another beta or the offical version.

Why not? I believe Opera Mobile costs $25.

Are you sure you installed the Smartphone version and not the PPC version? Mine is 8.65 (7720).

I looked at the file on my phone and it says:
opera_wm5_ppc_865b.cab

Is this the wrong one?

Yes. It even crashed while downloading the new 8.65b which expires in october. I had to use IE to download Opera.

I reported it as a bug - their response sounded a little surprised.
