Opera Mini 4.0 public release...

Hey all,

I have been using Opera Mini beta version for a while now, and it looks like www.operamini.com just released the official public version, and it's free....

However, for the life of me *,* will not work on my Q to give me full screen. i hit the alt button and the first *, that shows up fine -- but it never lets me do the second *.

Any suggs?

Hmm, aparently this will not work with Verizon Q's? Is this so? Scroll to the bottom of the page to read about North American users:

Opera Mini is available to all Sprint and Cingular customers. Availability for T-Mobile customers is dependent on the subscription plan. BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported.

I'm on an alltel Q and I downloaded it. It didn't transfer my bookmarks, but it works fine.

I downloaded it to my laptop, I will transfer it to the Q and try it out

I got it working on the Verizon Q using the instructions found in this forum (http://www.everythingq.com/forum/sof...ngy-12783.html)

To get fullscreen working, you need to press the ALT button twice to lock it, then press **

It needs Java. there is a thread here on how to set it up. A quick search on Opera Mini and Java should give you your solution.
