Mine did that as well and Verizon is sending me out a new one, but hmm it seems this is a pretty big issue. Hopefully that one solution will work because I plan to upgrade my replacement phone the second I get it.

yes thats the prob, im glad that others have this issue, i hope it just is a bug in the phone, i am wondering if i should redownload the update to my PC and use the new one, because perhaps the one that i downloaded was querky. But the new software on the phone seams to work just fine, except that i cant conect...one funny thing...i cannot make or recieve and calls from my phone, but only one number works...any guesses???

#768

in case you forgot thats the PAYMENT number, all else wont work, but if i find the need to make a payment they will shure let me! lol, thats funny! well when i get my new phone and do the update i will let ya all know how it turns out!

glad you finally got a tech that knew what they were doing. sometimes you have to do the setting manually. ;)

Yup... sometimes when you go through the Over The Air programming process, it sometimes gets messed up, and you have to manually program the NAM in your phone

Once you do that (the ##.... code you entered), OTA should work..

Default Solution in 14 easy steps (but no new phone)

I spent a day figuring this out, but didn't have to talk to any techs at Verizon OR get a new phone! So to sum up the steps by which I fixed my phone, I'll point to the threads where I found the help I needed.

Big super helpful directions here, thanks to Q estion:
http://www.everythingq.com/forum/sof...ghlight=%2A228

However, when I did the ## code to get the NAM menu, it didn't work; I just got another busy signal. So then I found this list of hidden menu codes:
http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mot....html#post1640

I started trying random codes from this list, and some worked. Then they didn't, and some that had worked didn't anymore. So I tried the NAM menu code again, and guess what? A menu popped up! No busy signal. Then I went back to the directions from Q estion, and all went well! My phone works now, no new problems!

Good luck!
