If you use Outlook, SmartPhoneNotes is great as well since it syncs with your PC.

Doesn't the phone come preinstalled with "memopad"? How are these programs different than it?

the Q1 does not come with a memopad..

It doesn't, which was kind of disappointing to me. Similar to how the iPhone couldn't send multimedia messages. Kind of sad not to be able to type little notes to yourself. Thanks alot for the link, Matt!
