Of course, sound level 100%.
Other application makes sound.
Appreciate any comment.

I tried hard reset. Now it's working!
But I lost everything. This is nice experience.
Still I'd like to know how to make sound working without hard-reset.

This was driving me crazy. I am not impressed at all with this phones mp3 capabilities.

I have found that when media player's volume is at 100%, the earpiece volume is turned all the way down. The only way I have found around it is:

-enable the keylock

-turn the earpiece volume up with the scroll wheel.

Hopefully that works for you.

I have also run into a problem where sound comes out of the external speakers, while I have the headset plugged in. The only way around that is to go into a call, enable the speakerphone, then disable it.

My question is, does anybody know how to make the volume HIGHER?

Default Sound fix

Ok, I have suffered with this problem through 2 full resets of the phone and finally figure out how to fix it.

Go the media player, start playing the file you want. PUSH the wheel in and HOLD IT unil you the ear phone interface, this took several seconds with video playing, be patient. Then let the button out an scroll the volume up normally.

Not sure who the idiot was that came up with this was but it was obviously a B or C line item for the dev team.

Hope this helps

Thank you mjm1374 don't know how you figured that out, but you are correct. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen to get a piece of electronics to work.

I saw the other posts that said to hold and scroll, but my problem was I was doing them at the same time. If you scroll while you are holding the scroll wheel in it only adjusts the WMP volume.

This was the first post that i saw that specifically said to hold in the button, be patient it takes a few seconds, and then the ear piece volume screen will pop up and adjust that.

If someone else was that detailed, then i missed it.. my apologies.

thanks again to everyone.. this forum is great.
