Did you move your "messaging" out of your start menu folder? That could cause that...

Question emoticons in text msgs

Hi, I'm a new motoq9c user and this is my first smart phone so-to-speak. I have a question but I'm not sure that I'm in the right area of the forum. On my old phone which was a flip phone I can't remember what kind at the moment I think it was a Samsung.. not sure. .well anyway there was this feature with the text software that when I sent text to people I could insert these emoticons.. there were a bunch of diff ones, a dancing one, angry, happy, crying, flowers, etc.. there were these little computer generated figures that moved and I could send them inside a text. Does anyone know if there's any type of software out there for the motoq9c phone like this? I miss that.. I like jazzing up my text msgs..

Any info would be appreciated..

Thanks
Scar

Would the folks receiving the text see them too or just you? In Extreme Text (which is the application this thread is about so you are kinda in the right place ) if you type a ":" and a ")" it changes into a smiley within Extreme Text. I don't think it changes how it looks on the recipient's phone, though.

Hi,
Well these can be seen by me and the person I'm sending it to.
Maybe this was just something built into the other phone as standard.
These weren't the basic smileys.. these were like little stick dancing
moving icons.. my phone doesn't have anything like that and I thought it would.. hmm.. Thanks

prosper? I am not following.
I am disappointed to be honest that no viable solution for selecting contacts has been resolved.
