Well, I said that because sometimes Windows Mobile is different on different carriers and devices.
WM has carrier specific changes done to it that sometimes may effect the way one app works on the phone compared to the same phone, same os, with another carrier.
For example, each carrier has their own system settings for sms and mms. I would imagine that WM would be adjusted slightly to ensure proper sms or mms correspondance on different carriers. Hence, a program like ET operating differently when using WM sms settings of AT&T vs verizon's sms settings
