Default Forwarding Text Msgs to an email

I would like to save all my text conversations and it seems like the best way to do it forward it to an email address. The limitation is that forwarding to an email only allows 160 characters including email address. I had to chop up conversations to be able to forward it.

Does anyone know a less cumbersome way of doing this? This is my first post, I apologize if this was issue was previously posted. Many Thanks!

Now that I am a fan of Twitter, a quick suggestion.

When I get a text with a URL in it I would love to be able to click it and have PIE open it.

I cannot click links in XT. it selects it and nothing happens.
In the regular text program, no problems.
XT is driving me nuts. May have to give it the boot soon.

i think extreme text needs a new version a.s.a.p with some new features.

seems like all these companies (smarttoolkit, pointui, extreme text) are just dragging their feet with releases.

now i know stk, point ui and such is freeware therefore we should be greatful, but man... u want people to use ur stuff, supply some support.

Is there a way to go straight to extreme text with the message softkey on the moto q? I'd like it to go straight into ET without going to the ET/Outlook menu screen since I don't use outlook.

Nope.
It is a os limitation, not a extreme text limitation I believe.

Thanks for the quick reply. Word of advice to anyone looking to do this: don't try to edit the key manually in the registry (\HKLM\Software\Motorola\Keypad). I just tried this and it made the button "stuck" in a loop (resolvable with resco via pc though). A little more searching reveals that editing keypad buttons with the new update (I'm guessing MOL2 or 3 and beyond) causes this problem. I'm on a sprint q w/ MOL4. I guess I'll just have to live with pressing the center key an extra time
