Default Need an app that prevents device locking

I'm looking for an application that prevents my Q from automatically locking itself. I sync with a corporate MS Exchange server that applies a security policy dicatating that the phone lock itself after 15mins of inactivity. To regain device access, I have to enter a strong alphanumeric password. You can imagine the hassle of having to enter a complex pw nearly everytime you go to use your Q!!

So what I want is an app that mimcs periodic scolling or keystokes, so that the device is prevented from ever locking. I know there are PC apps out there that do this to prevent Windows from going to sleep. Ideally the app wouldn't keep the backlight on though...

Does anyone know of such an app? Not sure if there is a hack that might accomplish the same thing that I could too.

Thanks!

I think we had a member a while ago with this "problem" but I can't remember how and/or if it was fixed..

Thanks for the quick replies. I think I might be screwed because not enough people have this problem and thus the right software hasn't be developed.

There is a timer program out there, but I am not sure if it will work exactly right to alleviate my issue (or end up being any less hassle than entering my pw every 15mins.

I will look around, and if I do find a workaround I'll post the outcome so it can be shared with the next vicitim.

Lightbulb Ask and you shall receive~!

I don't want to get too excited, but after some trial and error, I think I finally found the right program...

At first I changed the registry settings (as described in the link you provided above) with Resco, and that worked awesome - until the MS Exchange server re-forced the policies and overrode the changed registry settings

Turns out I needed this program (also found via the link above) to *block* the exchange server's security policy-push. It's called "Stay Unlock" and is genius. So far it seems to be an effective goalie, running in the background and only flashing across the top banner infrequently when blocking the pushed policy.

So I'm back to simple pin every 24hrs - no more strong alphanumeric every 15mins!! I hope this sticks. If you don't hear from me again on this, it did!
