Default Napster / Subscription Music Files

I'm a HUGE fan of Napster. Its $15 a month, but I can download as much music as I want. Sure, some biggies such as Dave Mathews and The Beatles are not on there, new music takes about 6 months to appear... but the type of music I am into, older music, non-main stream, I can download at full quality. Of course the catch is you have to keep the files updated or they stop playing.

In short, will the Windows Media Player plays these files, as long as I keep them updated?

Default Napster

I don't know///that was my question, too. I tried to download my Napster tunes onto my Q and there was some sort of copywright problem...let me know if you find out anything. Is there another site you can download from that acknowledges the Q?

I use Napster music also and have downloaded allot of music to my storage card NO PROBLEMS. I use activesync with media and download the music I want with no problems. You first have to set it up in activesync but once you've done that it works flawlessly.

What program(s) are you all using to download music? I just got this thing and I know it's capable of much more than what I use it for! HELP!

You said: What program(s) are you all using to download music?

OK I'll speak slooooower (Just kidding) I use Napster and Windows Media Player.

Activesync displays all the functions within MS Outlook you may want to sync and one of the selections within the Activesync window is "Media", when I went to sync with "Media" Activesync required me to setup a connection with a version of "Windows Media Player" I haven't seen before (It must of been for my phone) But Activesync did it automatically by just syncing with "Media".

Now to simplfy the process, I download all my songs from Napster to my PC harddrive, never to my MP3 player because I don't like Napsters playlist.

So once I sync with Media Player through Activesync on my phone I simply drag the song files from my PC harddrive to my phone storage card. That's it.

I haven't had any copywrite problems as of yet, I even managed to sync my phone directly to the Napster website and Napster recognized my 2gb storage card, so I could just drag files from the Napster site directly to my phone also, but I prefer doing it from my orgainzed list of music from my harddrive through Activesync and Windows Media Player.
