Default Music (iTunes preferred) on Q

Hi all,

I want to begin playing my songs and podcasts on my Q. Any good links or info out there which provides instructions and details on how to do this?

Right now, I have my entire audio library in iTunes. Any chance that I can directly play these songs on the Q or I will need to convert songs to another format? If the latter, any guidance on how to do this?

Will I need:
• To download software?
• Buy a mini SD card? (If so, any recommendations)

A friend said to simply put the mp3s in the folder using activesync then just use media player. Two issues w/ that – 1) how/where do I put the files in the activesycn folder? I’ve never seen it and I sync wirelessly. and 2) will the itunes songs play? I thought they needed to be converted to a readable format.

Finally, any good recommendations on headphones or other useful accessories?

Thanks in advance.

Convert Songs in itunes to mp3 format (non-purchased songs only). itunes can do this just do a little seraching in itunes help.
Use active sync or WMP to transfer to Q. Just copy from your PC hard drive open active sync (you cannot do through wireless sync) and then browse to the folder you want to put them on, then paste.
I would put the MP3 in a folder on a storage card. WMP can find them when you perform ethe "update music library" function.
If you want to convert songs you have purchased via itunes - I recommend Note Burner (Google it) Cost about $30) Easy to use (for back ups only)

I recommend a SanDisk 2 GB card.

If you have a Mac, you can use Markspace's MissingSync software, which allows you to sync playlists from iTunes to your Q. Provided they are MP3's .. This also works very well with keeping your iCalendar and Address book in Sync. I love their product! ... It's fantastic!

apple has got all their apps on lockdown. You'll only see itunes on the iphone and those few motorola phones.

Hey Stealth,

I also own a Q9 and I use a program called Cloudtrade to access all my music on my phone. Upload your songs at www.cloudtrade.com (up to 1GB) and then you download the songs from your own cloud right on your phone. This way, you don't have to buy a storage card and you can have all your music available to you.

www.cloudtrade.com

Hope this helps!
