Right now, I have my entire audio library in iTunes. Any chance that I can directly play these songs on the Q or I will need to convert songs to another format? If the latter, any guidance on how to do this?

Will I need:
• To download software?
• Buy a mini SD card? (If so, any recommendations)

A friend said to simply put the mp3s in the folder using activesync then just use media player. Two issues w/ that – 1) how/where do I put the files in the activesycn folder? I’ve never seen it and I sync wirelessly. and 2) will the itunes songs play? I thought they needed to be converted to a readable format.

Finally, any good recommendations on headphones or other useful accessories?

Thanks in advance.
Go look at this www.copytrans.net maybe something you could use. I use it to copy/backup itunes so I can use them with any player.

Default iTunes on Q

I followed the instructions on the previous page and I can not get the iTunes songs to convert to MP3. I thought only WMA songs would play on the Q? I followed the steps also listed in the iTunes Help section. I followed the instructions to change the settings in Edit, Preference, Advance, Import, Import Using MP3 Encoder. I then clicked on the song I wanted to convert (purchased and non purchased) in my iTunes Library, clicked on Advance, but the Convert to MP3 was greyed out (non-operational). What am I missing here?

if wanna have access to all your music 24/7, just incase your signal is spotty, then buy a storage card.

what format are your songs in? if m4a/mp4/aac, just download the plugin for tcpmp.

it plays both. If you go to your library on the task bar there should be a row that says kind if not right click on the task bar and highlight the kind option it will automatically show you what kind of file your working with, those that are not mp3 if they are itunes will be label as aac, highlight the songs you want to convert and once is highlighted right click and convert selection to mp3. Import using mp3 Encoder is for new music.

Default Help

OK, I'm just signing up for iTunes and downloaded the software, etc. I go into the iTunes store to purchase or not purchase a song. I right click on the song and click on convert to MP3, but I get an error message stating that the song is protected and can not be converted it to MP3. I also purchase one song as a test, and the same message appears or the convert to MP3, link is grayed out.
