The phone will not turn on with the power button. If I have the A/C adapter attached, it will start to a black screen with:

Motorola Flash Mode
Bootloader Version:
BOOT_C_03.08.00R_MPAP

Charger Connected
Please Connect the USB Cable

Anyone have any suggestions?

Time for a new phone, hopefully they'll exchange it for a new one.

At this point you're SOL and at their mercy, Motorola warranty is (I believe) one year though.
