microsoft money or equivalent

hey guys, just converted over to a q from my old dell axim x5. one of the programs that i grew fond of on the axim (i used wm 2003) was microsoft money. i have read on a few boards that money is not compatible with 5.0, so i was wondering if any of you have gotten this to work, or have found a program that is equaly good (preferably free) (school= no money). i just need it to balance my check book and money was a great way to do so without having to to do all the scratching in a check registar
