One of the main reasons I got the Q was for internet, I was hoping to be able to use Yahoo maps or google maps etc... Ive had no luck on google and on Yahoo everything except the map opens. Yahoo complains that I have IE 4.0. Can I update my mobile? HELP!

Give Windows Live Search a try.

Map4PDA gives you a choice between google maps, yahoo maps, and virtual earth. It works really well and has a gps option. Its also free. Map4PDA.com.

Just an FYI, if you have the new Firmware, Map4PDA will not work. The developer is aware of this, and states that it is not anything that he can fix, it is due to a change made my MS or Moto. I would highly recommend Windows Search Live. It is a great application, it is free, it works GREAT with your GPS, and the developers are working on some new features to make it even better.

How does Live work with the GPS? Mine seems to get hung up with the Bluetooth?? Does Bluetooth have to be enabled? Also, Is it COM 1 I should be set on? THanks

The new iTap DLL in MOL2 seems to have broken the Web browser component in the .NET CF. That affects other programs, too. If you have MOL1, you can copy the iTap DLL before you update, then copy it back afterwards.

Of course, that will remove some of the things that MOL2 fixed (specially, you'll still have to hit the ALT key when inputting your passcode to unlock the Q).
