Default Linking to a contact is more than just a ph# or eMail

Perhaps I'm more critical than others. I've tried a number of PIM packages but none implement linking a contact to an appointment in a 100% meaningful manner.

Some provide a way to capture the phone# and/or eMail address into an appointment but, given that there's always a "Location" field in an appointment, why is there no way to capture the physical address so all the contact's data (or, at least, the parts that you need) are included in that one screen (the appointment)?

As well, there doesn't seem to be a "summary" screen for a contact (and this is a failure of M$ in its implementation of the WM5 Contacts interface). If I need to have a contact's physical address, I must scroll through all the earlier info (phone #'s, fax #'s, eMail addresses, ad nauseum). (So here's a real need: Create a package that, with one press of a button, displays a summary screen of the currently highlighted contact. While you're at it, do the same for the appointment.)

Even the 3rd party PIM package developers haven't noticed this awkwardness. Yes, the link exists but it takes 5 or 6 button presses once I get into the appointment screen in order to get back to the contact's address.

I'll repeat: Why is there a location screen if it's not to actually have an address there? Yes, it could be "at Mom's" or "our hideaway" but, if we're going to the trouble of linking back to a contact (and the link has already been established), shouldn't the address be available in, at most, two button presses? Why not simply add the choice of bringing over the address as well as the phone# ?

Okay; that's my wishlist. I had all this on 10 year old Palm Pilot (with one simple 3rd-party pkg called "Actioneer"). It's remarkable that WM5 (and probably WM6) isn't more user-friendly.
