Default kill apps please!

Could someone please make an app or software to turn the power on/off key into an EXIT or KILL button. Its so annoying to go through the menus! I dont understand why Motorola or windows 5.0 didnt set it up that way, it has a home key and the power key... both of which do the same thing if tapped!

Qtasks allows you to assign a button to double tap, closing the current application. For example, I double hot the x key and it closes whatever ap I am on. They also have Q Caps which allows you to scroll through the letters and symbols associated with a key instead of hitting the alt tab.

Uh yeah! But couple of the handiest apps you'll find for the Q, IMHO, and well worth it.

Assign the task manager to speed dial #9. That way you can just hold down the 9 key, and kill your tasks that way

This is probably a stupid question but just out of curiosity, if you're using QTask in a text editor, and you type two y's or two u's, does it switch applications on you?

I realize that it's a rare occasion that one types two y's or u's one after the other but I was curious anyway.

I think it has a setting for time delay for double click in the settings. ??

We only reserve double taps for letters that aren't commonly used back to back; otherwise, you just need double tap slightly slower. Our default double tap is 200 ms and you have to tap quick to do that. I don't ever actually type that quick on the Q because I find that the keyboard gives a lot of false clicks due to the hard nature of the keypresses. We haven't received any user complaints about what you ask either.

the chances of you having to hit yy or uu or qq in succession are almost impossible. even if you wanted to type something like: "You up yet?" there would still be a space bar in the middle

You could always assign a speed dial. I did that. Go to start, highlight the app, click the right soft key, add speed dial and that will create a speed dial for the included Task Manager app.
