Just got confused (outlook/email)

ok Im not new to pdas but I am new to outlook.
I have 2 accounts gmail and hotmail.

Gmail is set up on my Q.
Hotmail is the email that I have in OutLook.

The default email program for Q has "outlook" in there but for the life of me I cant get it to pull my hotmail msgs.


In a nutshell it irritates me to have the outlook folder in my program and have it not being used.

I keep hearing people talk about wireless syncs and such. So my question is simple im sure the answer wont be.

Is there a way to get my hotmail info to register with that Outlook folder ? ((pocket MSN just creates a hotmail folder which doesnt solve my issue))

If not , then is there a way to get rid of the "outlook" option.


Lastly unrelated. Anyway for one button pushing to receive email ?
I have to go through select> gmail>menu>scroll > send receive.
I used to just tap the screen on my old pda
