Default iTunes on Moto Q?

Hi, I've been wondering if anyone knows if there is a iTunes that works on the moto q, or windows mobile. I have an iPod like everyone else in the world and i like using iTunes to sync my iPod. I would prefer not having to use windows media player to sync as i already have a lot of acc files that wont play in windows media player, and I am already very familiar with iTunes. It would be much eassier to sync my moto q with itunes like i do my iPod. I don't even care if it doesnt have the itunes store functionality, i just wanna be able to sync with the q and play my aac files. does anyone know if this is possible?

Smile iTunes

iTunes for smartphone is rumoured and I think Apple will bite on the Q...given its popularity and the complete failure of the ROCKR. They'd be stupid not too.

For the time being there are a few programs that let you sync, but they run external to iTunes. I am working on a snap-in for iTunes that will recognize the Q as though it is an ipod.

I'll keep you posted!

thanx for the reply Praetorius. what are the external applications you are speaking of, and where can i find them. the main problem for me seems to be that i have no way of playing the acc files created by itunes, so i would have to redo my whole library to mp3s

Sorry about the vagueness of my last post. I was on my Q at the time

The external application to sync your playlists is called ppcTunes(http://www.pocketmac.net/products/ppctunes/). According to what I have read, TCMP does support AAC files. Additionally, ppcTunes will automatically convert your files to WMA format for play in windows media player.

Hope this helps you.

Hi,
I use iTunes. I just open iTunes ot my music folder, explore my Q with Activesync and drag and drop my selected music or video files and even podcasts to my music folder (I like to keep mine seperated by artist). I disabled the Windows media player because it's too difficult to program syncing with and it puts it to the device instead of my storage card.

TCMP even supports the cover art from iTunes. Just drag and drop the ACC files from iTunes to your Music folder (Explore) while synced and poof, instant music.

That rocks.

How do you disable WMP or make TCMP the default player???
