Is this possible? Streaming question.

I am new to to Q. I am streaming with orb. I have 400kps up on the host PC. 500kps to 800kps down on my Q. Every time I stream video i only get about 30 seconds until it starts to buffer again. My PC has plenty of resources left( task manager shows 40% cpu 20% ram used). What gives? Can I increase the buffer size? I would rather wait to watch than have it stop every 30 seconds or so. I also have tcpmp but cant get the stream to open. I would be ok with any player if I could adjust the buffer and set it to the default media player so the streams would open in it rather than windows media mobile.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
