Installing to SD card from PC....

Hey all,

I searched, but, surprisingly, couldn't find any hits on this question...

On programs that install via .exe files from the PC, and then go through activesync -- how do you tell them to install to the SD card in the mini?

I see an option for "install to default location" in the activesync window, but the option is greyed out. I have 1.5 gig free on my SD, and cannot install a game that is 7 megs big, because I only have 5 free megs of space on my built-in Q memory...

when you install from the PC to the Q you will get a window on your PC that says 'check your device for other option' (or something along those lines) and then go to the Q and when you see the install location screen...in the 'location' window hit the right d-pad key to scroll from 'device' to 'storage card'

did that make any sense?

Yea, it makes sense -- thanks. However, I was anticipating that prompt, but it never showed. Whenever my PC tells me to look to the device for further options, it always initializes the install to the main memory -- I never get the choice to change locations... I'll try it again later...

yea, i am using my SD just fine. i will try again later after a soft reset. oh yea, i tried it with minimo....is it possible that it somehow mandates instalaltion to the on board memory?
