Insider Info: The Truth About Sprint and WM6 - Motorola Q Forum

I know there is speculation, rumors, hopes, and petitions. But I did and finished my investigations. As a consumer and Sprint rep I wish we could say there is hope fo this upgrade. But believe I have coe across solid information about this upgrade to WM6 and Spints plan .

First let me say that this isn't from some advanced Tech over at customer care. These simple bitter sweet words are somewhat dissapointing.

In an email it says as follows:

"No WM6 Upgrade on the Q.
The next generation Q is targeted for a Nov/Dec 07 launch."

There you have it. Accept it and lets wait to see what they have in store for us.

That stinks.... Of course they want us to buy new phones... but not any time soon for me.

and u will find that 10 techs/csr's/etc will say 20 different things. until sprint says it for sure, we dont know.

its most likely not coming to our Q, but we dont know that until sprint says so. Honeslty i think all the debates and threads on WM6 and the Q are pointless.

Scuba is right. Until Sprint actually says it, its not official. But, i am sure it will leak. We will have to pirate.

Just to tell you the credibility of my source....he helped make the decision with microsoft and motorola, so i doubt we will see it for any of the Qs.

I did however find out some interesting info about upcoming phones for sprint. The pearl is coming out and blackjack. This is from a seperate source.

Had a Blackjack... they are slow... The ports suck (Headset, charging, etc.) Plus there's no good forums for them like EQ

haha I was just letting you know. I wan stick wth Q i just thought it was interesting to know the pearl and bj are coming soon. But i know for sure a new Q is coming out in nov/dec

I think I need a sprint insider... you'd think living in KC they'd be everywhere.
