Its really because i asked the right people. It also helps that i am a sprint rep. But as far as this wm6 upgrd i know we arent getting it. Sprints focused on the future Q which will have a lot of improvements. I suppose this current Q is the Treo 650 or PPC 6700 of its own kind.

I guess we will have to see. Well at least in a few years anyway (thats when I can get a new phone)

First let me say that this isn't from some advanced Tech over at customer care. These simple bitter sweet words are somewhat dissapointing.

In an email it says as follows:

"No WM6 Upgrade on the Q.
The next generation Q is targeted for a Nov/Dec 07 launch."

There you have it. Accept it and lets wait to see what they have in store for us.

We need a page that says what sprint phones are or arent coming, you know, like a crystal ball for sprint somewhere.

since no one really knows till they hit the fcc AND get announced, thats not gonna happen.

Somebody doesn't read Engadget Mobile, the Boy Genius Report or any of the other cell phone "tabloids". They're not always right, but they're as close to a crystal ball as you'll get, I think.

And, of course, some people actually do know before the FCC and announcement -- like Sprint decision makers, marketers and probably even customer service reps (who need training). Of course, leaking that information could be grounds for getting fired, but it happens all the time.

Ya'll Sprint users just need to do like we do at VZW. Get a phone, use it, love it then find out that something more or better is just fixing to come out. Get pissed and get over it. I've been doing that for years. I will probably stick with my Q until the next great phone revolution, enclosed toilet paper.

I am sure there will be an unoficial release like AKU 3.3 for the PPC6700
