Default I need help with Outlook Appointments/Verizon

Greetings!

My co-workers send me Outlook Appointments via my email. Unfortuntately, when I download my email through Verizon's wireless sync the Q doesn't know that it's an appointment. I can see the message, but it won't update the calender on my Q. It's only when I hot sync my Q to my computer with Outlook pulled up that the email is recognized as an appointment. This is the only reason that I sync my Q to my PC on a regular basis.

Is there anyway to directly download my Outlook email to my Q wirelessly without going through the Verizon wireless server?

Thanks!

I have my Q setup to directly access our corporate Exchange server. This allows me to get email pushed directly to the phone as well as see and accept appoitments. If you use an Exchange server at work, you should be able to get it set up. Talk to your IT department as they may need to give you access as well as give you the appropriate credentials to sync (domain, correct server, etc).

If you can't directly hit the server, you can also set it up as a Pop3. Again you will need the correct server for POP and SMTP (incoming and outgoing). I do not know if appoitments are recognized with this method.
