Default I Need Help Im New

Hey can anyone help me i just got my Q 2 days ago and i have been downloading a lot of programs but all they are are files and i dont know where to put them or how to install them if anyone could help that would be good thanks!!!

they are probably cab file. move them from your PC to anywhere on your Q and then navigate to that place with the file manager on the Q and click on the file you want to install and it will install

in theory you can put it anywhere it wont hide on its own...especially if your hidden folders are still 'hidden' and you didnt view all folders...then after you install the cab file you can just delete it...just keep a copy on your PC for backup

Well im using win rar and i cant find a file that says cap and when i copy it to my Q and click on it it says app must be running or some thing like that i tried everything just let me know if u know any more thanks

Sounds as if, you may have extracted the CAB file onto the Q, with WinRAR? If so, you can't extract the CAB files from your PC with WinRAR, onto you Q.

You need to COPY the CAB file onto the Q with ActiveSync > Explorer, open the CAB file from File Manager on the Q. The CAB file on your Q, is just like opening a SETUP.EXE on your PC.

oooh i see what he was saying...yes...the file may look like a zip/rar file...but do not open the file and remove the contents...

I just click download and win rar pops and the files are lined up and there is now CAB file there is a xml setup fine but when i click on that it opens a web site with a bunch of codes
