Default I love Candlelight....no...wait....no I dont

Installed it, and LOVED it. Then I realized that I couldnt "wake up" my Q. Just a black screen. Quick Google exploration told me that I was not alone in this. Thankfully just deleting it took care of the problem with no hard reset required.

Sure wish it worked better. I have wondered ever since I got my Q9h how I could turn down the screen brightness.

if you want to use candlelight, you need to turn the smart backlight off. they do the same thing and can interfere with each other if you don't

if you use smartbacklight on the Q9h it will dim it and brighten it in certain situations

i have read that if you use candlelight you HAVE to turn off smartbacklight or it will do what happened to your Q

Nope....still screws up. All I get is the very top part of the screen. If I hit the envelope button, I can see Messaging at the top of my screen...nothing else.

Delete....again.

Candlelight is not better... used/tested it for a while on my Q1 and it did little to nothing beneficiary to the battery life.
