Default So..

I freely admit that I'm an idiot, but thanks everyone. I was trying to use the mobile site, and now that I'm on the full site- it's all good.

Sorry about the trouble!

Now I just need to figure out how to convert the FLV file that it allows me to download, into mpeg or wmv.

Thanks again!

I don't know if this helps, but I found a program called "Freez FLV tp MP3 converter." This converts videos from the computer into MP3 format, so I can play the audio on my phone. For example, on the music site for AOL (music.aol.com), I couldn't download the Bowling For Soup album by songs, but they were available by video, so I downloaded them. They downloaded in a .flv format, which I then converted to the mp3 format, using this converter. Then, I was able to save them in my music folder, and sync them to my phone.

I found this program at: www.smallvideosoft.com. I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff, but this was pretty simple. Hope it helps! Good Luck! (Sorry my link isn't "clickable", but I have no idea how to do that! Told you I was an idiot!)

On top of Sherri's suggestion, another one you can try is the freeware SUPER ©.
SUPER © can convert those FLVs to just about any media format you'd like. MPEG2, MPG4, WMV, AVI, MP3 audio only, .....etc, you get the idea. It's powerful and I will personally vouch for it's performance.

I have to agree with RB and MBK2. I finally figured out how to use Super C. FREEZ flv started out free, but they closed the free registrations. For .flv to mp3 they want $10.00, & for other formats they want additional purchases. Super C is totally free, & it does most formats you will need (actually all the formats I need! ) Good luck!

Default Everyone is...

RIGHT. I've used Super before, and for some reason I thought it wouldn't convert FLV, but it didn't nicely. Now I just need to figure out how to make the file sizes smaller with Super. I've never been able to- I am able to with Fairuse, but I don't hink FU does FLV files. Nonetheless, I use FU for converting movies for my Q.
