HELP: Carriage return or "new line" issues w/ third party software.

I consider myself a pretty sharp cat... but I'm stumped! I have Docs to Go and PhatNotes, and I'm unable to do a carriage return or "new line" with either application! Instead of a new line, I get kicked out of the current page as if I hit the "arrow" button... I just get sent back to the last screen I was on...I have check both apps for any settings to change, looked over the Sprint Moto Q manual, and I have searched the web and all forums I can think of... nothing.

Can anyone tell me... What the dealio????

so when you hit the return key (the button above the shift key) you get kicked out of the program?

Thanks for posting... yes and no

If I'm in a PhatNotes ... I can type out a line... hit the "return" button.. but instead of getting a new line, I get a reaction like when you use the "<--" button. Just takes me back a step to where I was prior to trying to edit.

If I use "Docs to go / Word"... nothing happens... nothing @ all...

Very odd... and frustrating...

i can tell you for a fact (i just tried :} that a return/enter in Words To Go brings you to the next line. you are using the enter key correct ?

Just found my issue... If you have VitoCopyPaste enabled, what I have been trying to explain will happen to you! I was pi$$ed ...and held down the "return" button.... noticed the Vito copy/paste options come up. I disabled the task... and NOW I can use my "return" key just fine! Thanks for the dialog, sometimes that is all we need to work things out. You rock... and Thanks!
