Default HELP - Active Sync and Outlook Express

Does anyone know if active sync "syncs" with OL Ex? I have a second q (due to the SERO rates) and now am finding that I cannot sync contacts without outlook. I only have OLE and installed that just so that I could sync. Apparently my computer never recognized it. Now I'll have to manually re-enter all my contacts . . . Arrgghhh. Do I really have to purchase outlook now? What a pain.

No, you don't have to re-enter all of your contacts. There is a file with an extention called *.wab (Windows Address Book) When you open Outlook, import the *.wab file and it will import all of your contacts in the Windows Address Book from your PC.
