Default handbrake

I am trying to use handbrake to encode video for my Q. Every time that I try to play the new video on my phone I get audio, but no video.

Do I need to download a codec for my phone?

Should I be encoding to MPEG4 or AVI mode?

If I'm not mistaken...The problem is that the windows mobile version of media player doesn't support MPEG4...so nothing that you do will make that program work.

Yes, I would get TCPMP (Core Media Player) and then encode your files to *.avi format. It plays any compressed video format I have put on it so far.

Depending on your version of Windows on your PC, here are the links to the files:

Windows Mobile ActiveSync
tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.exe
tcpmp.smartphone.0.72RC1.exe

Windows Mobile CAB
tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.cab
tcpmp.smartphone.0.72RC1.cab
tcpmp.other.cabs.0.72RC1.zip

You will want the smartphone file, you can choose either the activesync of the CAB file.
