Default gwes.exe error

Does anyone know what gwes.exe is? And causes this to have the occasional error?

Thanks for that link but I get a request asking me for my username, password and a URL which I do not have. This pop up does not go away unless I power down and remove the battery and power back up.

Default My Moto Q froze on gwes.exe Help?

My Moto Q is in the Key Lock mode and I just got the gwes.exe for the first time. I can only get the screen to light up by pressing the red on/off button. I can't get the phone to respond so I can unlock the key pad. Can any one help me get my Q phone unlocked and past the gwes.exe?

Ok, if you are able to get this done, this is how you fix it:

The gwes error can be avoided by going into Start->Settings->Error Reporting and disabling the error reporting.

Lastly, are you running Papyrus? This seems to be the cause of the error.

Thanks for the info. I will keep this note for next time it happens.
I had to take off the battery to reset my phone to get it unfrozen from the error page. It is working fine now, but if it happens again I will disable the error reporting as you explained. Thanks again!
