Got Skyfire Installed

I just got my invite today, and per Craig's comment I agree that there should be a separate thread where we can discuss the program. (Otherwise it'll get lost in other comments about invites, etc.)

I did immediately mute the audio, and was also interested to find that you can resize the zoom box using 1 and 3.

Nice one OP12 for actually creating the thread.

I did finally get the sound to work on the bbc radio web page but still don't get any sound on youtube pages. Perhaps with my connection speeds of just 1x it can't handle both Video and Sound together.

The zoom function with the 1 & 3 buttons is nice and easy, here are some other shortcuts:-

1. Zoom In
2. Enter Web Address
3. Zoom Out
4. Add Bookmark
5. Refresh

Is there any way to interact with a page while in the zoomed out mode, or do you have to zoom in to use controls?

Also are a lot of people seeing quick battery drain? I haven't used it much yet but if that's the case it'd be disappointing since this seems like a pretty slick and useful app. Extreme battery usage could be a dealbreaker.

battery usage is pretty heavy with the current version, but that's supposed to be addressed in a later release.

only when zoomed in can you interact

From my usage you have to zoom in to use any links as in thumbnail mode the cursor is fixed as the zoom range button.

I certainly haven't noticed any heavy increased battery drain although I did read in there documentation that they recommend that you close it when not in use and they will decrease any battery drain in future releases.

That's a big reason why I have not been using Skyfire a whole lot since I got it installed. I don't surf all that much on my Q, but when I do, EQ is one place I frequently visit.

i havent been able to register at all!! I have to confirm my registration by clicking a link in an sms they send to the phone, but I've tried multiple times, havent received the sms till date!

Not only does this work while you are zoomed in but will also increase or decrease the size of your zooming "window" for lack of a better term, when you are fully zoomed out.
