Default Google2Go

Just saw this on a Google blog. Don't know any more about it than what is listed here, but it looks interesting nonetheless. Link has video of the software in use...

http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2008-02-25-n64.html

Bryan Burkholder released a software for Windows Mobile (note: it requested newer files of the .NET framework on my phone...) called Google2Go, used to quickly access different Google services. Bryan says, “the reason I wrote this app was I really like the Yahoo! Go application, and wanted somthing similar for Google products ... I think the UI is easier to use, and the application is quicker than using [Internet Explorer]. And the application requires less page loads than IE, which potentially could lower data cost (if the user pays by MB or whatever).”

I asked Bryan and he replied saying he does plan on getting around to making it work for non-touchscreen devices, and even plans to open source the application eventually. So now we wait impatiently

the only feature (which is remain to be seen/tested/proven) is the faster browsing/load time then with PIE... like mentioned, which is remain to be seen.. overall i can't stand those "branded" browsers like AOL & MSN.

I am not sure why you posted this as it does not run on the Q. It requires a touch screen!
