Default Good Text and Notes Applications
I need a way to take notes on my Q and to be able to save them as files and transfer them to my computer. Is there a free program that allows me create text files and jot down notes? If not is there one that is reasonably cheap?

PhatNotes auto syncs with your pc when you connect to activesync. i use it all the time.

Check out WordPad from Vieka.com

Very basic but it does the job and it is free.
