| if my Q did have the laser, I would've been all over it already!!! Unfortunately I have to use a semi bulky rangefinder. It's cool and all but if I had the laser on my Q!!'. Whoaw!! 'That' would be ultimate.
BTW...on a side note about GPS. I just got to sample my wife's VZ Navigator and let me tell you..... It blew my mind!!! Exactly like a full blown GPS unit, with voice prompt directions!! A shame that Verizon doesn't offer it for our Qs..... Why????... I have no frickin clue! |

| Verizon does not offer it (partly) due to BREW from what i understand... and yea, i had it on my Razr and it was very accurate and easy to use.

| As I mentioned earlier, I used Intelligolf for years on my Treo650, and I loved it. I went ahead and upgraded to the smartphone version of Intelligolf, with the GPS option, for my Q9h.
Went to a local course this morning, and the GPS functionality was fantastic. The scoring and statistics capabilities of Intelligolf are what sold me on it years ago. Having the GPS in hand when I walked out to my ball was just great.
I went with a fully charged extended battery, and after 18 holes, my battery indicator had just gone down to two bars.
Very highly recommended for any of the golfers out there looking for scoring, statistics, and GPS in hand on the golf course.

Mark W | I was wondering how the GPS worked with the Q9h. I recently downloaded the Eagle trial version but haven't had a chance to test it on the local course. I was wondering if all courses on their download list are GPS supported?... either way, Thanks for the feedback.

Jon | No, not all of the courses have GPS. But, Intelligolf makes it very easy for you if you want to survey the course as you play. They have a built in utility to help you measure the distances as you go, so next time you are all set!

-Sent from my Q | Yeah, it's definitely nice to have the yardage in your hand when you get to your ball. Another nice feature is that when you get to your ball, you can say "Start Tracking Shot", hit your shot, go to where it landed, and Intelligolf will show you how far your shot traveled. Very nice for figuring out how far you hit your clubs. Well, very nice, and sometimes depressing...
