| Get to apps by letter Is there a way like on other devices, once in the start menu to hit the first letter that it would take you to a program and put them in some sort of alphabetical order? |

| dunno about pressing a starting letter and it jumping there... the Start Menu is already in alphabetically order, you could make it easier to go through the list by changing the view to list instead of grid.

| When I hit start, the first app is IE, Get Applications, Wireless Sync, Messaging.
Next line is Vcast, Personalize, BT, Calendar
Settings....
Not even close to being in order. |

| Hey,
There's a small, free app out there that will automatically alphabetize your start menu... I can't remember where though....
Thanks,
Matt! |

| Tony BoD...don't know if these are what you are looking fo but look on rudeboys website (he's obviously keeping these for himself) and choose Jeyo Pesonalizer (to alphabetize) and ToggleView (to well, toggle the view btwn grid and linear formats).
Maybe these will help you, too!! |

Maybe these will help you, too!! | for the record, Jeyo Personalizer is not intended for the Q (even though some functions work) and secondly it only allows you to sort the first 7.

| Did not mean to upset you  As you know I'm running what I call QOnly (no PC) so I don't have or see many of the options others have
Signatures are invisible to me, as is much of EQ!!
And no one told me that Jeyo's not suppossed to work on the Q, so I put it there and use it, and it does a right-fine job--and either it or the Q has alphabetized all my entries, which is NICE, and either way it's OK with me. Guess one of these days I'll get a decent laptop or PC and see what all the fuss is about--but I got the MotoQ for that one reason--it being a be-all and do-all pocket device. :another shrug:
I'm just tring to absorb and understand as much as I am able...did not intend to offend anyone, least of all you, rudeboy!! |
