Default game beta testers

I'm looking for a few beta testers for a commercial Q hack-and-slash game (or any WM5 phone). Game is Flash-based, but game play is like any exe, very seamless.

Quick overview - you must recover the Shard of Lothyra hidden deep within the dungeon and return to the surface.

Some features:
- Designed specifically for mobile phone navigation layout
- Over 20 monsters and dozens of items
- Quick and fast game play, designed for typical mobile experience, a few minutes to waste here and there. But a full game lasts about 45 minutes (has auto save feature)

Screenshots at www.klobsoft.com. Site is sparse at this time but will be updated in the next few weeks.

If you are interested please email shardbeta@klobsoft.com with your email address and phone model. I will create a 320h x 240w version after I am done with this version, so I will accept beta testers for any WM5-based phone. I will only need about a few beta testers for any single phone model though, so first-come-first-serve. If you send an email but are not selected I apologize.

Thanks.

I didn't think the Moto Q could handle Flash?

It uses FlashLite, a mobile version of Flash. The player can be downloaded here: https://www.adobe.com/products/flash...ds/player.html.

The application has been tested on the Q and runs very well. The screenshots from the URL listed earlier are exactly how the game displays on the Q.

Cheri,

You are correct, it uses the FlashLite 2.1 player, my bad. The player is available if you sign up for a free developer account here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitl...ile%5Fdownload, but obviously this signup will deter 9 out of 10 people. I simply targeted WM5 because I was doing all of my testing on my Q. It's too bad it is so difficult to get the FlashLite player for WM5, it actually plays very well on my Q.

As the game is practically done, I will still continue with the WM5 beta testing, but I cannot guarantee it will be released for the smartphone - hopefully Adobe will make the Flashlite installer easier to download. I planned on releasing it for other mobile devices with embedded Flashlite anyway, I guess those plans will move faster than I thought.

I'm just happy he answered my question about flashlite. I develop in depth flash solutions, and kept wondering how to get flashlite for the q.

Thanks man
