Full YouTube access on the Q ; It works

m.youtube.com is not the same as full youtube. There aren't as many choices. If you download Skyfire (which is free...) you can just enter the "regular" Youtbe address (http://www.youtube.com). This is the full, not mobile, version.

Your right it isnt the full site of youtube, but you get to watch the videos, you get to comment and post on all the videos. So in all pretty much boils down to the same thing, with a different look.

i've put forth a solid effort to search on this subject but couldn't locate anything on improving TCPMP playback so that video is not so choppy. can someone point me in the right direction?

i'm getting an unexpected program error when trying to launch a video from youtube. I also get the same error if I launch TCPMP.

edit: nevermind I found the updated TCPMP for WM 6.1

Enter it in to the phones web address bar. Link comes up to download it to phone. Or you can go to the site from pc, register, and they send yo a link to download...

Ok.. I edited this post to make it real easy for anyone to do. The original directions (not from me) for doing this came from this thread:

Here are my really simple directions that don't even require a computer.

Step1: Install TCPMP 0.72RC1. To do this run Pocket Internet Explorer on your phone and type this url: http://tinyurl.com/wafj8. When prompted to download click Yes. When prompted to install click "Install". At the end of the install it will give you a message about the program being made for an older version of WM. Don't be alarmed, it will work fine.

Step2: Install the YouTube plugins for TCPMP and Pocket IE version 1.1. To do this just run Pocket Internet Explorer on your phone and type this url: http://tinyurl.com/36ntkl. Answer all the prompts the same way you did in Step1.

Step3: Reset the phone by pulling the battery and then plugging it back in.

Step4: Run Pocket IE and goto

and watch my superstar 7 month old son stand for the first time. Best video on YouTube. hehe.

BTW, you can't make fun of my wifes silly laugh in the background. "hahehahaheha".

Oh.. one more thing. If you don't see the Ev icon at the top of your homescreen on the Q then don't expect it to have enough bandwidth to play the videos smoothly.. if play at all.

did you follow the first link to the updated files? are you using youtube standard and not mobile like the thread says? did you select the file associations like the thread says?

hello, i havent posted in here for a while but i still havent solved youtube problem.

i dl'd TCMP file a while back. but when i try to play a video about half way thru it stops with the windows circle icon spinning and just hangs.

any help for what i can do and if you call email or message me a fix...thx.

BTW. my TCPMP version is 0.72RC1
