Full YouTube access on the Q ; It works

hey can someone help me out? i followed the directions and it worked great with no problems for a couple days, but today i can't get it to work... when i'm on youtube and i click on the video the windows icon comes up to show its loading and then after 5 seconds or so it just goes away... i reinstalled everything and i still cant figure it out... it worked fine until this morning..

they need to refix the files due to youtube changing some of the html

1. thank ermax for posting this useful information; 2. i did what you mentioned yesterday, it worked; however, the video can not be launched today (can not play) . Any possibilities?

The plugin no longer works. The author of the plugin is going to be out of town and not going to be able to fix it until next week some time.

Apparently YouTube made some changes to the HTML on there page so the plugin isn't able to parse for the links now.

Just hang in everyone, zbop (the developer) will fix it for us.

Any problems you guys have should really be directed to this forum here, for this is the official forum for this plugin where developer communicates.

When I get to the Youtube.com page on my Q it warns me that it's a data intensive environment and I should upgrade to avoid any additonal charges from my carrier.
Does my Power Vision Pack with unlimited Data and Web for $15 cover this type of surfing? (I have Sprint)
Just want to make sure before I go all out and enjoy my device!

yes if you have unlimited sprint data then you are fine
if you had a pay as you go plan then you would be screwed

I've just tried it and it does work, if you don't mind getting a message about running a "system command" every time you click on a link. When you go there. When you first arrive, there are links to the programs as well as instructions on how to configure the player:

After installing the programs and resetting, open TCPMP and press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > File Associations. There with be a list of boxes. Scroll all the way down, check the boxes marked "Flash Video" and "MMS protocol" and press OK.

Then press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Advanced. Scroll down to where it says Manual A/V offset +/- and it the box next to it enter the value -400. Press OK.

To set the buffering press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Buffering. Set the buffer size to 1184 kb, preload at underrun 3% and video at 64 kb. Do not select microdrive.

To help with the buffering, press Options- > Video - > Video Driver - > GDI.

If you want to open a video in fullscreen, press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Player. Check the box that says "Play at open in fullscreen" and press okay.

Just want to let you know that if you already have zbop's FlashVIdeoBundle.cab installed you don't need to install anything on my site, just follow the intructions under 'Getting Started' sans the install instructions and you should be golden.

Thank you so much for the great site. It works better then the PIE plugin and I like the idea of having the code that parses YouTube for the links on the server side. So now when YouTube makes a change to their page you can simply modify your parsing code and everyone is up again. No need to install an updated plugin or anything like that.

Good work and thank you very much! We all need to donate. There is no reason why you should have to pay out of your own pocket to serve this site and pay the bill for the bandwidth.
